Are you struggling to keep your anger in check?
Do you have outbursts and hate how it’s affecting the people around you?
Or do you tend more towards numbness when triggering events occur?
Let’s create space for more connection and stability again.
The Anger Release Workshop is a one-day 3-hour event designed to give you the space to understand what lies beneath your anger and to develop new skills around releasing it safely.
Anger is an intense emotion that has the power to motivate us into action when we witness injustice or feel our boundaries being crossed. However, when we become overpowered by the emotion or suppress it for long periods of time, it can cause various health problems such as unpredictable or aggressive behaviour, depression, powerlessness and shame.
Alongside this, anger is often times frowned upon or ignored by society which makes it difficult to cultivate helpful ways to utilize & release this common, powerful emotion.
Are you ready to release the anger and find relief, empowerment and centeredness?
In this workshop, you will find different ways to interact with your anger, increase self-awareness as to when, how, and where your anger is showing up in your life, and learn exercises that offer opportunities to shift your excessive anger into productive and healthy practices.
Your hosts have a combined 14 years of working with anger through psychotherapeutic practice, mindfulness courses and instruction, and previous anger release workshops. They are fiercely dedicated to supporting mental health and shifting how the world perceives & navigates these complex, yet powerful feelings.
This workshop is aimed at reframing how we look at anger, providing evidence-based strategies to navigate the anger within you, and to offer you a sustainable method by which you can continue to practice long past the end of our time together. Practices which are shown to further naturally decrease your levels of anger, aggression and more, while creating space for more of the emotions you want to develop in your life such as peace, love and joy.
This workshop will feature therapeutic skills from different modalities like;
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Mindfulness
Somatic Experiencing (SE)
and more.
If you’re tired of the rage-filled outbursts at your children, partner or colleagues, if you’re tired of feeling blindsided by your own emotions, or you want to find a way to release that energy therapeutically, let’s connect!
