Are you ready for change, but something seems to always get in the way?

Maybe it’s an inner critic that keeps you stuck in self-doubt, or fear that feels protective but also limiting.

Meet Carlin.

As a therapist grounded in emotion-focused therapy (EFT) and trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Carlin believes that meaningful change happens when you can safely experience and make sense of your emotions. AEDP is a relational, attachment-based approach that focuses on helping you process emotional experiences in real time—so healing isn’t just talked about, but felt and integrated.

Carlin also offers psychedelic-assisted therapy, where appropriate, as a way to deepen this work. In this context, altered states can help soften defenses and access emotions, memories, and insights that may feel harder to reach in traditional talk therapy—always within a carefully supported and intentional therapeutic setting.

At the core of his work is the belief that your emotions carry important information about your needs and your direction in life. Learning how to feel, allow, and understand them can open the door to change that feels aligned with who you really are. When emotions are judged as good or bad, worthy or unworthy, it can create an internal tension that’s exhausting to carry alone.

Carlin approaches this work with the understanding that your experience is uniquely your own—and that you are the expert on your life. He’s here to support you in shifting old patterns of relating to yourself and the world around you, at a pace that feels right.

With over 10 years of clinical experience across diverse settings, Carlin brings both depth and flexibility to his work. Your time together will be shaped by your goals, your needs, and what feels most meaningful to you.

Why I Believe in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

As a therapist, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful therapy can be. I’ve also sat with clients who are doing everything “right”; showing up, reflecting, working hard…and still feel stuck in the same places.

That’s what led me to psychedelic-assisted therapy. In the right setting, it can help people access parts of their experience that feel difficult to reach in traditional therapy alone. When supported and integrated thoughtfully, it can offer a different way into the work, especially for those places that haven’t shifted despite genuine effort.
