Shay the Person
What has been your favourite age growing up and why?
I truly feel more at home within myself after life experiences as an adult. Adulthood has allowed me to develop resilience, cultivate dimensions of strength and know there's light at the end of the tunnel when a stormy season was encountered. Not to mention, endless ice cream.
If you could snap your fingers and make the world better, what would you do?
I would create more spaces where people feel that they truly belong... where differences can be met with curiosity rather than fear or judgement, and no one has to go through life feeling fundamentally alone.
Do you live by any words of wisdom, or a motto? If so, care to share it?
I love the symbolism that pressure is a creative force behind diamonds. Though pressure may shape us, it is through care, reflection, and connection that we discover what wants to emerge.
