Life and relationships can be a struggle to manage.
Whether it’s finding ways to navigate through a recent breakup, struggling to find yourself as a young adult, or facing some really tough decisions, know that you are not alone. I have also faced situations where I felt stuck and didn't know what to do. Nevertheless, I have learned to better manage my emotions when I have a safe space to share my stories, allowing me to gain a new and more helpful perspective on life.
As an attachment-focused therapist, my work is rooted in the belief that every single person deserves to be seen, heard, and validated - no one gets left behind. I work with deep feelers and individuals who identify as Highly Sensitive People (HSP). Perhaps there are moments where you feel overwhelmed by your environment, or you might have difficulties with your interpersonal relationships. With the utmost care and compassion, I am here to support you in navigating through these difficult moments. Together, we will work towards finding new ways to move forward that feel authentic to who you are and what you want for your relationship with self and other.
While working together, you can expect us to explore your emotional world, vulnerabilities, bodily sensations, and what you require to stay grounded. Emotionally Focused Therapy is a gift in that it can help us organize and process everything you feel. What might come with this you might ask? This could include deepening your emotional awareness, having more control over how you experience and express your emotional processes, creating boundaries and stop people pleasing, and giving yourself time to reflect on yourself and the relationships in your life.

What's 1 thing that can instantly make your day better?
Cuddling with my cat is an ultimate enjoyment for me and will always cheer me up.
Do you live by any words of wisdom, or a motto? If so, care to share it?
I come from a Serbian background and it has become important for me to embrace my heritage.
My grandmother would also say "Taj ko pita, ne skita" which translates to "Those who ask don't wonder" and I love it.
What's next on your bucket list?
I would LOVE to experience Tokyo. I have been fortunate enough to visit many parts of Europe but the sound of indulging in some delicious Japanese cuisine while embracing myself into the culture sounds so mesmerizing.
