Are you looking to navigate challenging emotions, thoughts and relationships? But finding the right therapist has been difficult because they never seem to truly get it.
Do you want to feel supported by someone that has been through it and not just read about it?

Meet David.

David knows that you can find hope and access your innate potential, even through the darkest times. He will help highlight your strengths, your resilience and your natural skills so that you can begin to see your thoughts, feelings, and situations in new and empowering ways. With over a decade in a variety of counselling roles supporting clients, he knows that building a solid therapeutic foundation with you is central to your healing. Then, by seamlessly weaving in approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy your journey to understanding and acceptance will be all your own. And, you will never be alone through it.

Because of the ups and downs of his own mental health journey as a youth, David brings a deep sense of empathy and caring to his role as a psychotherapist. This heart—when combined with his wisdom and professional training—makes David’s therapy approach a unique one.

David the Person

What has been your favourite age growing up and why?

Age 13. Starting high school provided me with a new beginning of sorts. I made new friends from different backgrounds, began exercising people skills and realizing my potential.

Do you live by any words of wisdom, or a motto? If so, care to share it?

"Life doesn’t make any sense without interdependence. We need each other, and the sooner we learn that, the better for us all."

- Erik Erikson

If you could snap your fingers and make the world better, what would you do?

Give individuals the ability to look past what they see on the outside to what is on the inside of individuals. I hope this would produce more compassion and empathy in our word.

I’m here to walk beside you through this journey.
- David
